Founder and sole director of Spin360, Federico Brugnoli has always worked as an entrepreneur in the field of advanced services for sustainability and innovation.
Born in Milan (Italy) in 1973, he graduated with honours in 1997 in Environmental Sciences from the Polytechnic University of Milan and from the very start, he developed projects focusing on sustainability.
In 2009, he founded Spin360, a company that has grown over time and specialises in developing new sustainable business models and innovative solutions from a technological and organisational point of view, dedicated to luxury companies all over the world.
His CV includes several experiences in Europe: he coordinated European projects with international partnerships in the fields of product and process innovation, international cooperation, development of export markets, energy efficiency of industrial production.
He worked as technical coordinator of the European Sectoral Skills Councils for the textile, clothing, leather and trade sectors.
Since 2008, he has been a lecturer in Sustainability in Industrial Production on the Master’s course in Precision Manufacturing at the SUPSI University in Lugano.
He is a member of the technical secretariat for the Environmental Footprint pilot project for leather, implemented with the coordination of the European Commission.
He has worked with UNIDO (the United Nations Industrial Development Organization) for a project related to product life cycle assessment and eco-design in the fashion industry.
With Spin360, he has also developed a partnership with Synesis, the international research and development consortium, which also includes CNR (the Italian Research Council) and Fraunhoffer Gesellschaft (the largest application-oriented research organisation).
He currently works alongside international luxury groups, tanning and fashion companies, as well as Italian and European business associations. His most recent partnerships concern the chemical industry and focus on the integrated management of the sustainable supply chain in the fashion industry.
