Chemicals LCA & EPD Process

The impact of chemistry often represent between 40% and 60% of core processes of fashion materials. LCA datasets don’t have data on specific products. Chemical companies therefore aim at providing high quality primary data to their customers. Results Achieved
We have developed over the years a specific methodology and specific models to represent several Chemicals production processes. We have delivered studies on more than 50 products and applied the results in downstream applications.

In some cases, the market requires a third party verification on LCA published data (Environmental Product Declaration – EPD). The EPD process approach allows companies to set up a “LCA generation system” and self produce EPDs. We have set up an “LCA Process” System, based on the ISO 14001 standard, as well as training material for all the functions involved in the process. The system allows companies to collect and elaborate LCA data for the issuing of EPDs.
