Durability project by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana

We are pleased to announce that the first outcomes of the Durability project by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, supported by SPIN360, have been presented to the internal working group.

This initiative aims to develop a shared approach within the luxury industry for defining and quantifying product durability.

Five partners, including Fendi, Max Mara Fashion Group, TOD'S Group and Zegna, affiliated with the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana are involved in the project, setting the basis for future improvements in the current methodology, with a view to the expected developments related to the PEFCR (Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules) for #Apparel and hashtag#Footwear, as well as the ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation).

We would like to express our special thanks to Carlo Capasa, President of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana; Paola Arosio, Head of New Brands and Sustainability Projects at CNMI; Chiara Luisi, Sustainability Projects Manager at CNMI, and the involved partners for their commitment to promoting sustainable and innovative practices in the industry.
