The concept of “Planetary Boundaries” was introduced in 2009 by a group of scientists from the Stockholm Resilience Centre to define critical thresholds beyond which the global balance could be irreversibly altered, compromising the resilience of ecosystems and future generations.

These boundaries provide a scientific framework for understanding the limits of human consumption of natural resources, highlighting how the current rate of exploitation already exceeds, in many cases, the planet's capacity for regeneration.

Yesterday, October 28th, SPIN360 Team had a meaningful internal training session on the “Planetary Boundaries” framework, led by our CEO, Federico Brugnoli. This session provided us with valuable insights into the latest developments and implications of this crucial topic for our sustainability mission.
